Facebook Pay

Designing the future of digital payments and commerce through Meta Pay (fka Facebook Pay). I own content for the onsite checkout and wallet experiences that power Meta’s products.

Disclaimer language

Goal: Simplify disclaimers associated with Facebook as well as alternative payment methods, including Shop Pay.

Content Focus: Data-sharing language, privacy, security, transparency

Approach: Drove alignment with partnerships, legal, policy, and privacy on final disclaimer copy. Worked through numerous content iterations and led escalations to align on messaging goals and tradeoffs.

Impact: The Shop Pay disclaimer improved the overall conversion rate by removing an unnecessary step and adding clarity to the linking flow.

Value props and key messages

Goal: Refresh core value props to provide more transparency and clarity about product functionality. Reinforce why users should trust Facebook Pay through ensuring that our statements are accurate and can scale across all use cases, including donations and commerce.

Content Focus: Data-sharing language, privacy, transparency, terminology

Approach: From research, we learned that security was one of the top sentiment drivers for our brand. I partnered with other CDs to iterate on these value props to provide more specificity around how a user’s info is being saved. Secured buy-in from marketing, privacy, policy, and legal to scale these new props across our checkout ecosystem.

Other Projects

Content Design System

I’ve helped build out our content system and integrate these standards in our larger design system to create one source of truth. This includes value props, error states, internationalization, and more.

Metrics reviewer

As a reviewer, I provide feedback on payments-related flows across the company to ensure metric names and definitions are clear and accurate. This involves attending reviews with product teams and calling out risks in the content.

UX product quality

I help uplevel UX quality by driving initiatives that ensure teams are prioritizing quality fixes on a consistent basis and are able to measure the impact of those changes. I was recently the top CD fixer in our org’s annual fixathon.
